We usually look for investment opportunities where we invest between $5million and $15million, and we are open to a broad range of industries and deal structures.
While not an exhaustive list, our principal investment criteria for such transactions include the following:
- The business has a knowledgeable, passionate and down to earth management team that is dedicated to growth. The business is capable of attracting quality people to fill-in where necessary;
- The business is operating in an industry with strong long term potential;
- The business either has or has the potential to have diversified suppliers and diversified customers;
- The business should have (or have the ability to reach) a significant market share of its sector or industry as a whole;
- From a geographical perspective, we generally limit our scope to North America; and
- Like most investors, we look to cash-flow, but we are willing to invest heavily to support a balanced and well thought through plan for growth;
